Day 11- A picture of something you hate.

There's a lot of things I don't like or even care for but the one thing that I hate has already made it's appearance this year.

Being a red head and having fair skin has made it difficult for me to have fun for a long period (more than 20 minutes) in the sun without protection.
So the one thing I hate is a sunburn!

Day 10- A picture of the person you do the most screwed up things with

I'm going to change this one up a little because I haven't done much on the screwed up side for a while now so I would like to add a picture of someone I could see me getting into a bit of trouble with.

Sorry Erica but I have to pick you. This might involve mics at girls' camp *sneaky giggle*.

Day 9- A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

Who could recognize my voice even though I try to speak through my tears that are flowing like a rushing river? The person who has gotten me though the most of course.

Day 08 - A picture that makes you laugh

It's not so much the picture but the moment.

Place-A hat shop in the French Market in the French Quarters in New Orleans. Person-My oldest daughter trying on and posing with every single hat. We laughed so much that day!

Day 07 - A picture of your most treasured item

When I think of a treasured item I think of something I care about the most and will protect against anything. The first thing that comes to my mind is my family. My caring husband, two beautiful daughters and three handsome sons.  Yes there is one missing in this picture because I love him so much that I shared him for two years with the wonderful people in Curitiba Brazil.

Day 06 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day

This was a really hard challenge because I could not think of anyone that I would want to trade places with. After thinking for a few days I finally came up with someone.
What young girl never dreamed of becoming a princess? I just knew I would become one when I grew up just like in the movies. I think Kate is a great roll model for young women all around the world. For one whole day I would love to be a princess even as old as I am now.

Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory

One of my all time favorite memories is of my sweet little grandson, Vance, just after he was born. I didn't get to see his birth but I got there as quickly as I could. I love being a grandmama!!

Day 04 - A picture of your night

I completely LOVE scary movies!!! Anything that makes me afraid to go to the bathroom by myself when the movie is over. Still sometimes I get afraid of things that go bump in the night. This guy scared the pidoodles out of me when I was walking down Navy Pier in Downtown Chicago and finally I got up enough nerve to get close enough to have my picture taken with it.

Day 03 - A picture of the cast from your favorite show

I go through favorite tv shows like socks. Oh wait I don't wear socks.
The IT Crowd is one of my new favorite shows because it makes me laugh as I relate myself to Jen who knows nothing about computers except how to check her emails but still gets the job as manager in the IT dept with two geeks that I swear I am related to. It's just funny and I love english humor which makes it even better!

Day 02 - A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

I will have to pick two people that I have been the closest with for the longest time. I know it may sound cheesy but these are two of my bestest friends EVER! Sure we fought when we were kids but we still were very close growing up and still are. Almost all of my favorite memories of my childhood include my sisters. From camping all over the United States, school recitals that we always attended, sneaking into Theresa's bed at night, and the soup ladle that still hangs in my kitchen as a reminder of the chicken noodle soup Susan use to make for me after school. I could never imagine my life not having my sisters.

One feature I like about Blogger is that there is a link at the top to go to the next blog. When I find a blog that I really enjoy I will use that feature and find another one like it.
So I tried that this morning on my own blog and was very disappointed to get country singing blogs! If anyone knows me they know I can't stand to hear the twang of country music. So this is where I am suppose to promise to keep my blog updated frequently and with good content blah blah blah... I'll just start by adding here and there until I am able to click on the next blog>> and see what I like. If you're lucky you might find me as the next blog from one you really enjoyed too.
